Meet The Slakas

Despite their name, The Slakas are anything but lazy. This high-energy, five-piece rock cover band has been a staple of the Southern New Hampshire music scene since 2002. Based in Nashua, the group features a powerhouse lineup: UPS driver Dave Thorp on drums, Air Force veteran and "Beatlejuice" guitarist Dave Mitchell, veteran bassist Don Thoreson, multi-instrumentalist Chris Lussier, and vocalist Deb Lussier. Known for tackling challenging tracks and a wide variety of artists—from Led Zeppelin and Heart to Donna Summer and Pearl Jam—their mission is to keep the crowd dancing and singing along all night.
