Salomé Safri

High School Student, Activist, and Community Advocate

About

Salomé Safri, a senior at Nashua High School North, is a dedicated activist who discovered her passion for advocacy early in her high school career. She actively serves in multiple activist organizations, frequently managing their social media presence, while also blending her hobbies of photography, writing, and art with her cause. As the daughter of immigrants from the Dominican Republic and Pakistan, Safri’s worldview is deeply shaped by her community. Believing that immigrants, BIPOC, and queer individuals are fundamental to the nation's success yet drastically underrepresented, she views defending and representing these groups as crucial, focusing her efforts on elevating and amplifying others' voices rather than speaking over them.
