About

Ophelia Burnett is a justice-impacted movement leader, criminal justice reform advocate, community organizer, and founder of the O So Beautiful Reentry Program, a healing-centered initiative created to support and empower justice-impacted women as they rebuild their lives and rediscover their power.

Ophelia serves as a Healing Justice Program Associate with the American Friends Service Committee in New Hampshire, where her work spans policy advocacy, community organizing, legislative engagement, and movement building. She also serves as Vice Chair of the Greater Manchester NAACP Legal Redress Committee, on the boards of New Hampshire Legal Assistance and Black Lives Matter New Hampshire and is a 2026 graduate of the Dream.org Justice Cohort. Drawing from her own lived experience with incarceration, Ophelia has transformed some of the most difficult chapters of her life into purpose. At the heart of her work is a commitment to creating spaces where women and communities impacted by systems of injustice can heal, lead, be heard, and help shape the change they deserve to see.
