Meet John Bingaman

John is a devoted husband and father. His expertise in the application of maritime regulations, leadership and group dynamics, and strategic planning comes from 30 years of comprehensive regulatory and investigative experience with the Federal process in numerous field, management, and executive positions across the United States.

Since transitioning from his responsibilities as Chief of Staff for the Ninth Coast Guard District, overseeing Coast Guard operations throughout the Great Lakes region and the 6,000 member workforce, he has worked nationally and internationally to elevate industry clients’ ability to meet and exceed regulatory requirements. He previously served as the Director of Staff for the Force Readiness Command in Alameda, CA charged with training, assessing, exercising and evaluating a skilled workforce of over 40,000 individuals.

John is married to Heather W. Bingaman of Greensboro, NC since June 1, 1991. They have two daughters, Heather Kristine (BSN, RN, CCRN, (in Fall 2025 will change to DNP, CRNA)) and Savannah Jo (RDN). Heather and John have resided in Bay Village since transferring to Ohio with the Coast Guard in May 2011.
