Meet Jennifer Belmore

Jennifer Belmore is a Worcester, Massachusetts native, a trained pastry chef, and the owner of a dream-turned-reality bakery and ice cream shop. Though she holds a degree in Facilities Planning and Management, her true calling has always been baking—a passion passed down from her Polish-immigrant grandfather, who ran the historic Labunski's Bakery in Illinois. After studying under Master French Pastry Chef Delphin Gomes and balancing a career and family, Jennifer recently took the leap to open her own business. For her, "Diaspora" represents carrying forward her grandfather’s legacy and bringing community joy through sweet treats. When she isn't baking or scooping ice cream, she draws inspiration from life-affirming reads like Matthew McConaughey’s Greenlights.
