Meet Donna Sud

Donna Sud is an anthropologist, retired educator, and former owner of a Polish art and craft boutique in Merrimack, NH. Her journey began in Pennsylvania, where her pride in her Polish-American roots inspired a lifelong study of genealogy and human culture. A specialist in South Asian Studies, she lived and studied in India—a connection that remains central to her life through her husband and four children. After several years teaching Social Studies in the Hollis and Milford school districts, Donna now focuses on preserving traditional Polish foods and holiday rituals as well as celebrating the vibrant, multicultural identity of her South Asian-American family. Whether she’s keeping in touch with relatives still living in Polish villages or cooking up a family dinner of curry and parothas, Donna lives at the intersection of diverse traditions.
