Beth DiPasquale

Advocate for Communication

About

Originally from Massachusetts, Beth DiPasquale is the youngest of 8 children born to Italian parents. After finishing college with a degree in Human Services, Beth worked as a Practice Manager in charge of four medical clinics. In the early 2000s, she moved to New Hampshire where her daughter Grace was born. 18 months later, she was diagnosed with autism and Beth has been her full-time caregiver since then.

Beth is a passionate advocate for communication access for non-speaking individuals. Inspired by her adult daughter with autism and apraxia, she has become devoted to the work of Spell2Communicate, biomedical approaches to autism, and supporting families in the growing spelling movement. Beth works to raise awareness about the importance of presuming competence and ensuring that every person has a voice.
